T. Swift Calls NME Award Trophy a "Strange Compliment"

Taylor Swift has to start moving her Grammys over because she has another award to add to her shelves.
The 1989 singer won the award for Best International Solo Artist at the 2016 NME Awards but unfortunately couldn't attend the event. As a result, Taylor had to send a pre-recorded acceptance video to say thank you for the award, and in it she shows off the unusual trophy. Unlike the Grammys' gramophone, the NME Awards dole out trophies of a hand giving the middle finger—sass!
Calvin Harris' girlfriend acknowledged the unusual award in her speech. "I gotta be honest with you about this. When you first open up the box, this feels a little aggressive," she said, adding, "and then you get used to it."
But like those giving out the actual awards, T.Swift had a sense of humor about the bronze trophy. "It's kind of like LOL," she joked. "But just saying at first, first impressions were a little bit weird here, but now I understand that this is actually like a strange compliment.
"You're being cheeky about it," she added.
