Stacey Dooley established herself as the nation's sweetheart after appearing on series 16 of Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.

She was crowned the winner of the talent show alongside her dance partner Kevin Clifton and has recently announced her romance with the professional dancer.

Stacey is a journalist and presenter, who shot to fame through her investigative documentaries for BBC Three.

Most recently, Stacey Dooley came under fire after a Twitter spat with Labour MP David Lamny, about her recent charity trip to Uganda for Comic Relief.

Stacey, 31, is a TV presenter, journalist and documentary film-maker from Luton, Bedfordshire.

She first appeared on our screens back in 2008, appearing in documentary Blood, Swear and T-shirts, which explored sweatshops in India.

They are the latest victims of the Strictly Curse - and are the FOURTEENTH couple to split after being involved in the show.

Sam previously gushed about his girlfriend on Instagram, writing: "Proud of you girl. From dodging bullets in Iraq to chasing Drug lords around Mexico!! Catching flights around the world like they're local buses…you're an absolute grafter and deserve everything you get…who needs GCSE's when you got a MBE. My girl."

However, it seems like there was a bit more to the story as Sam recently revealed to The Sun that he found a text from Kevin Clifton on Stacey's phone saying 'I love you'.

Stacey has broken her silence since her ex's explosive interview was revealed, and Tweeted about forgiveness and there being two sides to every story.

This confirmed that the duo are now romantically involved but it's been alleged that their relationship was an 'open secret' on the Strictly tour, despite Stacey and Sam still being in a relationship then.
