Actress, teacher and casting director Cecily Adams, actress, teacher and casting director, died March 3 in Los Angeles after a four-month battle with lung cancer. She was 46. Best known for her recurring role as acerbic feminist Moogie on “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” Adams also appeared on shows such as “Just Shoot Me,” “Murder One,” “Murphy Brown” and “Home Improvement.” Until her death, she served as casting director for “That ’70s Show,” following assignments casting series such as “Third Rock From the Sun” and “Eerie, Indiana” and features including “American Heart” and “Home Room.
