Máximo Perrone has joined Las Palmas on loan from Manchester City. Perrone has put pen to paper and has joined Las Palmas on a season long loan deal. Manchester City announced the loan themselves on Wednesday. The 20 year old joined them in January from Velez Sarsfield and took part in only two matches for the Premier League champions. Las Palmas finished second in Spain’s second division last year as they won promotion.
What was already a stormy relationship between The Weather Channel and DirectTV has now become something of a Category 3 communications catastrophe. Twenty million DirecTV customers can't see The Weather Channel today because the two sides didn't reach an agreement on a new distribution deal before a midnight Monday deadline. An Oklahoma news anchor is recovering after she began showing signs of a stroke while on air Saturday morning. Julie Chin, of the NBC affiliate news station KJRH, said she first began losing vision in part of her eye, then her hand and arm went numb. Then, while she was doing a segment on NASA's delayed Artemis launch, she began having difficulty reading the teleprompter. "If you were watching Saturday morning, you know how desperately I tried to steer the show forward, but the words just wouldn't come,"

The trust that runs Peterborough City Hospital say they are looking into the possibility of a private takeover. It comes after their regulator, Monitor, ruled the Peterborough and Stamford NHS Foundation Trust as 'financially unsustainable', in a report, last year. The trust have told Heart they are looking at various ways of saving money. They say they are looking at ways for private organisations to use part of the hospital building, and say it could range from a private healthcare company taking over a particular ward, to them taking over the entire hospital.
