This collection of short plays by Anthony Clark takes the phases as stimulus for seven scenes but maps them on to women of different classes and experiences.

Just as Buffy the Vampire Slayer used its magical subject matter to play with metaphors about adolescence, The Magicians uses similar tropes to explore the messiness of adult life.
